Fotógrafa, editora y promotora cultural reconocida por su trabajo durante muchos años en Guadalajara liderando proyectos como Los Ojos del Tiempo y más recientemente, en San Antonio Tlayacapan, donde fundó la Galería / Cafetería La 133.

Mónica Cárdenas se ha distinguido por ser una de las artistas más generosas y activas de nuestro país. Su trabajo, por ejemplo, al frente de la Feria Internacional del Libro de Artista (LÍA) generó un amplio reconocimiento más allá de nuestras fronteras. Hoy, residente de la ribera desde hace más de cinco años, comienza otra aventura en el mismo corazón de San Antonio Tlayacapan.

La Galería MC está ubicada en la plaza central.

Para el buen gusto de nuestra comunidad, MC Gallery, pretende convertirse en uno de los espacios culturales más importantes de la región; Para ello, entre sus próximas actividades destaca la puesta en marcha de un estudio fotográfico, un laboratorio de impresión fina y una editorial especializada en libros de artista. Siempre consciente de que su trabajo está estrechamente vinculado con la comunidad ribereña, MC Gallery también anuncia el inminente inicio de diversos talleres de creación artística para todos los públicos.
